Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about duct cleaning, pricing and booking.
About the Service
What is air duct cleaning?
Removing built-up dust and debris from the supply and return ductwork of a heating and cooling system, including registers, grilles and main trunk lines. We use source removal: the system is put under negative pressure and the buildup is mechanically loosened so it is captured, not stirred up. More on our air duct cleaning page.
Is duct cleaning necessary?
Not always. Health Canada’s guidance suggests it where there is visible mould, signs of pests, ducts clogged with dust and debris, or after renovation work. If none of those apply and the system was cleaned in the last few years, it may not be needed yet.
How often should ducts be cleaned?
Every three to five years suits most homes, sooner after a renovation or with pets. Commercial and industrial systems depend on how they are used, so an inspection sets the interval.
How long does it take?
Most houses take a few hours. Commercial and industrial jobs are scoped on site, and we tell you what to expect before work starts. The residential process page shows every step.
Will it make a mess?
It should not. Floors are protected with drop sheets and the system is kept under negative pressure, so loosened dust is drawn into the vacuum rather than into your rooms.
Do you clean furnaces and dryer vents too?
Yes. Furnace cleaning and dryer vent cleaning are often booked in the same visit as the ducts.
Booking and Pricing
How much does duct cleaning cost?
It depends on the size of the property and the number of supply and return vents. For homes, the property type and vent count are usually enough for a straight number over the phone. Commercial and industrial work is priced after a site assessment.
How do I book?
Call (905) 456-8940 or book online and we will confirm a time.
Which areas do you serve?

Do you work in condominiums?
Yes. Condominium suites usually need booking through property management or the concierge, and we handle that coordination.
