Residential Air Duct Cleaning

Duct cleaning for houses, condominium suites and townhomes across the Greater Toronto Area. We clean the full supply and return system to NADCA standards, protect your home while we work, and show you before-and-after photographs of what came out.

What Builds Up in a Home’s Ducts

Every home collects something different. Houses with pets gather hair and dander in the return ducts. A basement finish or kitchen renovation sends drywall dust through the whole system. New builds often have construction debris sitting in the ducts before the first owners move in, and a resale home may never have been cleaned at all. Condominium suites are different again, with a fan coil unit or small air handler rather than a full furnace. Because the furnace blower and the dryer vent share the visit so easily, many homeowners book furnace cleaning and dryer vent cleaning at the same time. For how the method works and when cleaning is worth doing at all, see our air duct cleaning overview.

Common Questions

How do I prepare for duct cleaning?

Clear access to the furnace and to every register and return, including any behind furniture. Let us know about pets, and about registers that are painted over or hard to reach.

How long does residential duct cleaning take?

Most houses take a few hours. The size of the home, the number of vents and how much buildup there is all affect it, and we will give you an estimate when you book.

Should I have the furnace and dryer vent done at the same time?

It is usually worth it. The furnace blower sits in the same airflow path as the ducts, so cleaning the ducts while leaving a dirty blower sends dust straight back into clean ductwork. The dryer vent is a separate duct, but it is quick to add to the same visit.

Do you clean ducts in condominiums?

Yes. Condominium suites usually have a fan coil unit or small air handler rather than a full furnace, and buildings often require booking through property management. We handle that coordination.
